"The Beach Goes On" by the FLAWBOREDS skewers the old Sonny and Cher hit; turning it into an ode to Frankie Avalon, Annette and the old Beach Party Movies. The lyrics are hysterical and the beat a mix of punk and rock. The Flawboreds are Paul DeRatier on vocals & guitar, Vinny Vasalino on vocals & guitar and Mike Lee on vocals & bass. From their album "Get Nailed", the song was recorded "old school style" on 1/4 tape and features engineer, Ron Greenfield performing all "special effects" vocally (he does a mean "ocean" and "seagull")
