Next we went straight to song. He wanted to work on suspicious minds by Elvis Presley. We first asked him to sing the song with the singer in the background. Next to get a better pitch accuracy, we asked him to lip trill the song. To incorporate a dopey sound, we took him through y mom y and did I do that. We asked him to sing the song again with the words. To incorporate power and connection, we went through two excercises - one on a run of oh oh oh and the next on “I want it now”. Next, we asked him to sing the song on a nah. We moved onto the karaoke next. He did amazing today- we moved onto his next song my way by Frank Sinatra. To end class, we took David through a vocal fry cooldown. He did amazing today! We started with our warmups to get her voice relaxed and ready to sing. She worked on “Love’s Little Lullaby,” first singing the song with the words and then singing it again on an “oh” to focus on tone and breath support. We revisited “I Love You Truly” and “Singing Is Great,” building confidence and strengthening her pitch. Brooke sang the song again to lock everything in, then practiced singing on “à la” for smooth connection and clarity. She also worked on “I Want It Now,” and sang it again to reinforce expression and energy. We ended class on a vocal fry cooldown. Brooke did a fantastic job staying focused and showing growth throughout the entire lesson!
